Pizza Toast Bites

Ingredients
• Pane Turano
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 1 tbsp. oregano leaves
• 2 tsp. garlic powder
• ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
• 1 cup marinara sauce
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
• 10 slices pepperoni
• 1 lb. mild Italian sausage, cooked
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• ½ cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
• ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, torn
Directions
• Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
• Cut Pane Turano into triangle slices and transfer to the baking tray. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper.
• Brush the oil over the Pane Turano triangles.
• Bake for 10 minutes or until toasted and golden brown. Remove the chips from the oven and leave the oven on.
• Layer half of the chips in a large cast iron skillet or on a baking sheet.
• Spoon half of the marinara sauce on top, then add half of the mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and tomatoes.
• Layer on the remaining ingredients in the same order. Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
• Top the nachos with freshly grated parmesan and basil, then serve. Enjoy!
