Creamy Carbonara

Ingredients

• 4 Slices of Pane Turano
• 2 Large eggs
• 4 Cups water
• 12 oz Spaghetti
• 2 Cups of parmesan
• 1 Cup Pancetta
• 1 Cup half and half
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 2 Tbsp basil


Directions

① Separate egg yolks and mix well. Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and boil on high. Add 12 oz of spaghetti and cook accordingly to the package. In a skillet, add pancetta and cook until crisp on medium heat for about 6-7 minutes and transfer it to another bowl. Add half and half to a skillet and bring it to a simmer. Whisk in the egg yolks and parmesan cheese. Add pepper to taste.
② Add the cooked spaghetti and mix well! To serve, garnish with more pancetta, parsley, red pepper flakes or parmesan.
③ To serve, garnish with more pancetta, parsley, red pepper flakes or parmesan and toast 4 slices of Pane Turano for pairing.
