Maxwell Street Polish Sausage

Ingredients
• 8 ea – Turano Bleacher Buns
• 8 ea Vienna Beef Maxwell St Polish Sausage
• 4 ea White Onions
• 2 Tbsp Canola Oil
• 8 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
• 16 Sport Peppers (optional)
Directions
① Heat a large frying pan or medium pot over medium high heat
② Add the canola oil and onions and begin to caramelize the onions
③ Heat the grill or griddle to medium heat to grill the sausages
④ Cook the onions, stirring infrequently for 25-30 minutes
⑤ Season the onions with salt once cooked
⑥ Grill the sausages while the onions cook, turning frequently
⑦ As the sausages cook, steam the buns on the stove, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and gently steam in the microwave
⑧ Place the sausages in the buns and top with the caramelized onions and mustard
⑨ Top with the sport peppers if desired
