Beer & Beef Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
2 tbl. butter
1 medium yellow onion, peeled, thinly sliced
¼ tsp salt
6 oz. medium bodied ale
3 tablespoons butter, softened
8 slices Turano 100% Whole Grain Bread
6 slices of sharp cheddar
6 slices Muenster cheese
2 cups cooked beef roast, shredded or sliced thin
Directions
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt two tablespoons butter.
Add sliced onion and salt. Let the onions cook until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes, then add beer and let reduce until almost all liquid is gone, another 2-3 minutes.
Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread and top un-buttered sides with a slice of cheddar, shredded pot roast,
In a skillet or grill pan over medium heat, grill each sandwich, 2-3 minutes per side.
