Caprese Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

• 1 pack Turano Mini French Rolls (8)
• 4-5 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
• ½ cup pesto sauce
• 2 (8 ounces) sliced fresh mozzarella
• 2 tomatoes, sliced
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella
• ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 2 garlic cloves, chopped finely


Directions

① Preheat oven to 375°.
② With a bread knife, cut through each Mini French Roll so that the top and bottom pieces are separated
③ Place the bottoms in a baking dish and brush the melted butter mixture (butter, garlic, italian seasoning) evenly on the bread. Place the remainder of the butter mixture on the side to use on the top of the rolls later.
④ Place the bottom rolls in the oven and remove from the oven once slightly toasted.
⑤ Spread the pesto sauce over the surface of the rolls.
⑥ Top the pesto with a single layer of fresh mozzarella slices, then a single layer of tomato slices. Add the shredded chicken and finish with shredded mozzarella cheese.
⑦ Add the top layer of rolls to finish assembling the sliders, and brush the remaining butter mixture on top.
⑧ Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven.
⑨ Bake for 15 minutes or until the mozzarella is melty. Remove the foil and let set for 2 minutes before slicing. Slice into individual sliders & serve. Enjoy!
