The Turano Breakfast Sandwich

The Turano Breakfast Sandwich


• 2 Turano gourmet sandwich buns
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 6 cups baby spinach
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1 pinch salt and pepper
• 6 ounces sun-dried tomatoes in oil
• 4 ounces cheddar cheese
• 1 avocado thinly sliced
• 4 slices ham
• 2 eggs poached or fried


① Put a tablespoon of oil in a large pan set on medium heat. Add spinach and garlic and cook for a minute or two, until the spinach has wilted. Add salt and pepper to taste, then set aside.
② Return the pan to heat and add an egg or two, cooking them to your preference.
③ Using a food processor, or dice in a bowl if one’s not available, blend the jar of tomatoes until you have a spread. Place the spread in a bowl.
④ Preheat the broiler on over to high. place a slice of cheddar on each side of the buns and set on baking sheet. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
⑤ Remove the buns and assemble your sandwich, spread the tomatoes on the cheese, then build up with the slices of ham, the avocado, and finally the egg(s). Enjoy a hearty breakfast!
