• 5-6 toasted slices of Turano Rustic Grains
• 1 Pound sausage of your choice (hot Italian pork sausage, hot pound pork sausage, mild pound pork sausage)
• 1 Package of frozen hash browns (or finely diced potatoes)
• 1/2 tsp of salt
• 1/2 tsp of pepper
• 1 Cup of shredded cheddar cheese
• 6 Large eggs
• 2 Cups of Milk
① Cook sausages in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain well. Prepare hash browns according to package directions, using 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.
② Stir together hash browns, sausage, and cheese and pour the mixture into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Whisk together eggs, milk, and remaining 1 teaspoon salt. Pour evenly over the mixture and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
③ Serve with your favorite toasted slices of Turano bread! We recommend Pane Turano or Turano 100% Whole-Grain to start off the morning.
