Frito Burger

Ingredients

• 3 Turano Brioche Rolls
• 3 ground beef patties, seasoned and cooked to your preference
• Fresh jalapeño slices
• Frito chips
• 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
• 3 cheddar cheese slices, for burger topping
• 3 tbsp butter
• 1 cup white vinegar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp cayenne pepper
• Splash favorite hot sauce
• 1 cup ketchup


Directions

① To make the bbq sauce: in a medium sauce pan, add all ingredients except ketchup. Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce until sugar is fully dissolved. Pour in the ketchup and stir, remove from heat.
② Start by melting butter in the bottom of a medium sized pan on medium heat, place shredded cheddar cheese directly on the pan in round shape the size of your bun and top with thinly sliced jalapeños and more cheese. Repeat this step. While the cheese begins to melt, place your buns on top of each melted cheese round and gently press down. Allow the cheese to fully crisp before removing the buns from the pan.
③ To build the burger, spread bbq sauce on the bottom bun, top with cooked cheeseburger patty, Frito chips and the top bun. Press down to slightly crunch the chips and enjoy!
