Maxwell Street Polish Sausage


• 4 Turano Brat & Sausage Rolls or Hot Dog Buns
• 1 tbl. butter
• 1 yellow onion, peeled sliced thin
• ½ tsp. salt
• 4 6-8” Smoked Polish sausages
• Yellow mustard, to taste
• Sport peppers (if desired)


• In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
• Add onions to the skillet in a large mound. Season with salt. Let cook 20 to 30 minutes occasionally rotating the pile. Set aside.
• Push onions to one side of the pan and add sausages. Sear 1-2 minutes on each side, then cover with onions and let finish cooking, 10 more minutes.
• Serve sausages in Turano Brat & Sausage Rolls with onions, mustard and sport peppers.
