Turano Pork Schnitzel Sandwich

Turano Pork Schnitzel Sandwich


• 4 Turano French Rolls
• 1.5 lb pork chops
• 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
• 1 tbs lemon juice
• 3/4 cup of spicy brown mustard
• Olive oil, canola oil, or any high heat cooking oil to sauce
• 12 tbs unsalted butter
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1 tbs garlic salt
• 2 cups mixed greens
• Salt and pepper to taste


① Slice pork chops into 1/2” thick cutlets - 8 pieces, season with salt and pepper.
② In a small bowl, combine the mustard, 1/4 cup of olive oil, and lemon juice. Coat pork in mustard dressing and then cover it with panko crumbs.
③ In a large skillet, add oil and 3 tbs butter and place over medium-high heat. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Flip over, and then top with swiss cheese, capers, and a hint of garlic salt
④ Repeat steps 4 through 6 until each pork cutlet is fully cooked
⑤ Divide the cutlets evenly amongst the rolls, top with mixed greens, and serve!
