Pull Apart Cheese Bread

Pull Apart Cheese Bread

Ingredients

• Uncut Pane Turano Round Loaf from Mamma Susi’s
• 1 Stick of Butter
• 1 tsp of garlic powder
• 1 tsp of onion powder
• 2 Cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 Cup of parsley

Directions

① Slice the bread. Cutting a grid into the top of a loaf of crusty bread might look like a lot of work, but it’s really easy to do. Just be careful not to cut all the way through to the bottom of the loaf. You want cubes of bread—about one inch tall—that are still attached to the bread base, with just enough space between the cubes to cram a good amount of cheese, herbs, and garlicky melted butter.

② Melt butter. Melt your unsalted butter together with the garlic powder and onion powder, and stir as it melts to make sure that the powders are evenly distributed in the butter. Then, use a pastry brush to brush your onion-garlic butter into every last nook and cranny of your sliced bread.

③ Cheese-stuffing! Now, stuff the sharp cheddar and mozzarella shreds and herbs into those freshly buttered crannies.

④ Pop it in the oven at 350 degrees! Give it 2- minutes wrapped in foil, so the cheese can get really melty. Optional: Bake for an extra 5 minutes unwrapped for extra melty cheese. Serve immediately.
