Sourdough French Toast
Sourdough French Toast
Ingredients
• 10-12 slices San-Francisco Style Sourdough Bread
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 cup milk
• 3 eggs
• ½ tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tbsp. sugar
Directions
• Measure flour into a bowl. Add the milk slowly while whisking. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sugar until smooth.
• Heat a buttered frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, start soaking your bread in the mixture on one side and then the other. Do this until soaked.
• Cook until both sides are golden brown.
• Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, and fresh fruit if desired.
