Summer Cheese and Tomato Toast
Chicago Style Breaded Steak Sandwich
3 slices Turano Italian Round Bread
¾ cup cheese of choice
Summer tomatoes, sliced
Red pepper flakes
Extra virgin olive oil
Warm the oven on the broiler setting.
Lay the bread slices on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle some of the extra virgin olive oil over the top, followed by your cheese of choice. Add a layer of the sliced tomatoes.
Place under the broiler for 2-4 minutes or until melted and lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving plate. Add the fresh basil, red pepper flakes, and another drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy!
