Sweet & Savory Honey Baked Ham Sandwiches

Ingredients

• 1 package Turano Brioche Rolls (8 rolls)
• 2 cups honey-baked ham, sliced
• 8 strips prosciutto or bacon, cooked to crispy and crumbled
• 1 ½ cups leftover sweet potato casserole (with or without topping)
• 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
• ½ cup melted butter
• 2 tbsp maple syrup ( for glaze)
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp dijon mustard (optional, for a tangy kick)
• Salt & pepper to taste


Directions

① Prep the rolls: Separate the tops and bottoms of the Turano Brioche Rolls (keeping them connected as one sheet). Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
② Layer the flavors: Spread sweet potato casserole evenly over the rolls. Top with slices of honey baked ham. Sprinkle on crumbled prosciutto or bacon. Add a generous layer of shredded cheese.
③ Cap it off: Place the top half of the brioche rolls over the filling.
④ Glaze: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, maple syrup, garlic powder, and dijon mustard. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
⑤ Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until golden and the cheese is melty.
⑥ Serve: Slice and enjoy the ultimate sweet + savory Thanksgiving leftover mashup!
