Cheesy Meatball Texas Toasts
Ingredients
• 2 -3 Turano Soft Sub Rolls
• 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
• 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
• 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
• ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
• 1 pound pre-cooked thawed mini or regular meatballs
• 1 16 ounce Pasta Sauce or Marinara
• 3 slices Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
① Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Slice Soft Sub Rolls vertically into small rounds
② In a medium bowl, mix butter, garlic, parsley, and salt together until well combined. Spread evenly over the rounds.
③ Bake for 10-15 minutes or until slightly golden brown on the edges.
④ Add the cooked meatballs and sauce to a pan over medium heat and bring that to a simmer. Once simmering cover with a lid and lower the heat.
⑤ Remove the garlic bread from the oven when golden and press down the center with a spoon to form little bread bowls.
⑥ Place 2-3 meatballs in each piece of garlic bread and top with additional sauce from the pan.
⑦ Cut mozzarella slices in 4, add a slice over the top of each of your meatball rounds, and place them back in the oven for a couple more minutes to melt the cheese.
⑧ Top with parsley and enjoy!
