Garlic Bread Steak Sandwich

Garlic Bread Steak Sandwich

Pane Turano
1 thick NY Strip Steak
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Olive Oil to taste
1 cup White Onions (to caramelize)
1 cup Arugula
Mayo Sauce:
½ cup Mayonnaise
1 Tsp. Sriracha
1 Tsp. Worcestershire
Garlic Butter:
½ cup of butter
4-5 cloves of Garlic (minced)
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Olive Oil to taste
¼ cup Parsley (chopped)

Begin by seasoning the steak liberally with salt, pepper and olive oil.
Place the steak on a skillet or pan and cook it on medium heat with butter. Turn over the steak every few minutes for a nice even color. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes after it has been removed from the heat, and slice thinly.
Meanwhile, cook the sliced white onions on a pan with olive oil, salt and pepper and let them do their thing. Toss every few minutes until golden brown, soft and caramelized.
In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha and worcestershire for the sauce. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil and chopped parsley for the garlic butter. Set aside.
In yet another bowl, mix together the arugula, olive oil, salt and pepper. Set aside.
Spread the garlic butter on both sides of each Pane Turano slice, and cook on the pan on both sides.
Assemble the sandwich by starting with spreading the mayo/sriracha/worcestershire sauce on one side of the garlic bread. Top with arugula, thin slices of steak, caramelized onions and the top piece of bread.
Cut in half and enjoy!
