• Rustic Italian
• 1 thick NY Strip Steak
• Salt to taste
• Black Pepper to taste
• Olive Oil to taste
• 1 cup White Onions (to caramelize)
• 1 cup Arugula
Mayo Sauce:
• ½ cup Mayonnaise
• 1 Tsp. Sriracha
• 1 Tsp. Worcestershire
• Garlic Butter:
• ½ cup of butter
• 4-5 cloves of Garlic (minced)
• Salt to taste
• Black Pepper to taste
• Olive Oil to taste
• ¼ cup Parsley (chopped)

Directions

• Begin by seasoning the steak liberally with salt, pepper and olive oil.
• Place the steak on a skillet or pan and cook it on medium heat with butter.
• Turn over the steak every few minutes for a nice even color.
• Let the steak rest for 10 minutes after it has been removed from the heat, and slice thinly.
• Meanwhile, cook the sliced white onions on a pan with olive oil, salt and pepper and let them do their thing.
• Toss every few minutes until golden brown, soft and caramelized.
• In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha and worcestershire for the sauce. Set aside.
• In a separate bowl, mix together the butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil and chopped parsley for the garlic butter. Set aside.
• In yet another bowl, mix together the arugula, olive oil, salt and pepper. Set aside.
• Spread the garlic butter on both sides of each Pane Turano slice, and cook on the pan on both sides.
• Assemble the sandwich by starting with spreading the mayo/sriracha/worcestershire sauce on one side of the garlic bread.
• Top with arugula, thin slices of steak, caramelized onions and the top piece of bread.
• Cut in half and enjoy!
