Garlic Parmesan-Crusted Grilled Cheese

Ingredients
For the Garlic Parmesan Butter:
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 2 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
• 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
• Pinch of salt
• Freshly cracked black pepper
For the Sandwich:
• 4 slices Pane Turano
• 4 slices mozzarella
• 2 slices provolone
• 8-12 slices prosciutto
• ½ cup shredded fontina (or additional mozzarella)
Directions
① In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
② Heat a skillet over medium-low.
③ Spread a generous layer of the garlic Parmesan butter on the outside of each slice of bread. Then place the butter-side down in the heated skillet.
④ Layer mozzarella, prosciutto, provolone, and fontina and place the other slice of bread on top (butter-side up)
⑤ Cook 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden and crisp and the cheese is fully melted. Lower heat if browning too quickly.
⑥ Remove from skillet and enjoy!
