St. Paddy’s Day “Gym Shoe” Sandwich

Ingredients
Sandwich
• 1 Turano French Roll (toasted on flattop)
• 4 oz Sliced Corned Beef
• 4 oz Sliced VB Italian Beef
• 3 tbsp Russian dressing (recipe attached)
• 3 slices American Cheese
• 2 slices Tomato
• 1/2 cup shredded Iceberg Lettuce
• 3 tbsp Vienna Beef Hot Giardiniera
Russian Dressing:
• 1⁄2 cup Mayonnaise
• 1/2 cup Sour Cream
• 1/4 cup Ketchup
• 1 tbsp Vienna Green Relish
• 1tsp Lemon Juice
• 1 clove Grated or finely minced garlic
• 1 tbsp Minced Shallot
• 1tsp Worcestershire
• 1⁄4 tsp Sweet Paprika
• 1⁄4 tsp Cayenne pepper
• Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
① Preheat Flattop or pan on high
② Place down Italian Beef and Corned Beef and begin to tear apart and mix using a spatula in both hands.
③ Once well mixed and torn into large shreds, make it into a small pile and top with the cheese slices and top with the French Roll so it steams
④ While the cheese is melting, mix together Russian dressing ingredients and set aside
⑤ With a spatula, carefully slide underneath meat pile and flip turn onto a plate while holding the bun on top with your other hand
⑥ Top with the remaining ingredients of giardiniera, Russian dressing, tomato slices and shredded lettuce
⑦ A key move here is to wrap sandwich into deli paper or foil and allow it to steam for a minute before slicing and eating.
