Holiday Wreath Spread

Holiday Wreath Spread

Ingredients

① Toasted Rustic Italian
② 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
③ ½ cup of mayo
④ ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
⑤ ½ cup of green onions
⑥ ⅓ cup of chopped bacon
⑦ ⅓ chopped parsley
⑧ Parsley Sprigs, optional
⑨ Pimiento peppers, optional
⑩ Salt to taste, optional

Directions

① Toast a few slices of Rustic Italian or your favorite Turano bread. Cut them into triangular pieces and put them to the side.
② Fry bacon pieces (as many as you see fit) and pat dry. Once the bacon has cooled down, cut the slices into small pieces.
③ In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, grated parmesan cheese, and green onions if desired. Add and stir in the bacon. Refrigerate for 45 minutes - 1 hour.
④ Invert a small bowl in the center of a serving platter. Shape the cream cheese mixture by rounded table by rounded tablespoonfuls around the edge of the bowl. Remove the bowl.
⑤ Smooth the cream cheese mixture to help form the wreath. Garnish with parsley, parsley sprigs, pimientos or red bell peppers if desired. Salt to taste (optional). Serve with toasted slices of Rustic Italian or your favorite Turano bread. Note: If you notice the wreath becoming too soft, put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
