Holiday Wreath Spread


• Toasted Rustic Italian
• 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup of mayo
• ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
• ½ cup of green onions
• ⅓ cup of chopped bacon
• ⅓ chopped parsley
• Parsley Sprigs, optional
• Pimiento peppers, optional
• Salt to taste (optional)


• Toast a few slices of Rustic Italian or your favorite Turano bread. Cut them into triangular pieces and put them to the side.
• Fry bacon pieces (as many as you see fit) and pat dry.
• Once the bacon has cooled down, cut the slices into small pieces.
• In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, grated parmesan cheese, and green onions if desired.
Add and stir in the bacon.
• Refrigerate for 45 minutes - 1 hour.
• Invert a small bowl in the center of a serving platter.
• Shape the cream cheese mixture by rounded table by rounded tablespoonfuls around the edge of the bowl.
• Remove the bowl.
• Smooth the cream cheese mixture to help form the wreath.
• Garnish with parsley, parsley sprigs, pimientos or red bell peppers if desired.
• Salt to taste (optional)
• Serve with toasted slices of Rustic Italian or your favorite Turano bread.
• Note: If you notice the wreath becoming too soft, put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
