Thanksgiving Gobbler

Ingredients

• 3 slices Turano Rustic Italian bread
• 2 tbsp butter
• ⅓ cup mashed potatoes
• ⅓ cup roasted Brussels sprouts
• ⅓ cup stuffing
• 4oz. turkey slices
• ⅓ cup cranberry sauce
• ⅓ cup gravy
• Salt and pepper to taste


Directions

① To build the sandwich, start with the first piece of bread, spread the mashed potatoes, add salt and pepper, and top with roasted Brussels sprouts.
② Dip the 2nd piece of bread into the gravy so it is fully covered, and add it on top of the Brussels sprouts layer.
③ Next, layer the stuffing, turkey, and cranberry sauce, and add the 3rd piece of bread on top.
④ Warm butter in a pan over medium heat and then place your layered sandwich. Use a cast iron press tool or spatula to “press” down on the sandwich while it toasts on each side. Once each side is perfectly toasted, remove the sandwich from the pan, cut in half, and enjoy!
