Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinsa

Ingredients
For the Pizza:
• 1 Turano Pinsa Rustica Crust
• 8 oz low-moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
• 4 oz provolone cheese, shredded (optional)
• 4 oz pepperoni slices
• Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
• Hot Honey
For the Sauce:
• 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• ½ tsp dried basil
• ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Making the Sauce:
① Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
② Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and black pepper.
③ Simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasonings to taste.
Assembling and Baking the Pinsa:
① Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
② Place Turano Pinsa Rustica Crust on a baking sheet or directly on the oven shelf
③ On the Pinsa, brush the crust edge with olive oil then spread a thin layer of sauce over the crust, leaving a small border.
④ Sprinkle shredded mozzarella (and provolone, if using) evenly.
⑤ Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese.
⑥ Bake for 7-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is lightly golden.
⑦ Remove from oven, drizzle with hot honey, and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
