Ingredients

• 8 slices Turano Rustic Rye Bread
• 1 lb. deli turkey, sliced
• 8 slices Swiss cheese
• 1 cup creamy coleslaw, recipe follows
• 1/2 cup Russian dressing, recipe follows
• 2 tbl. butter
Coleslaw:
• ¼ cup mayonnaise
• 2 tbl. buttermilk
• 1 tsp. ground black pepper
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 bag coleslaw cabbage mix
• Add all ingredients besides slaw mix to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
• Add slaw mix and toss to coat. Let sit 15-20 minutes before using.
• Russian Dressing:
• ½ cup mayonnaise
• ¼ cup ketchup
• Dash of hot sauce
¼ cup dill pickles, minced


Directions

• Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat.
• Layer bread with turkey, Swiss, coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing.
• Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Melt butter.
• Grill sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side or until until both sides are golden brown.
