The Sloppy Jose
Ingredients
1 tbl. vegetable oil, light olive oil or butter
1 small onion, diced
1 lb. 80/20 ground beef
½ salt
½ tsp. black pepper
1 pepper from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo, chopped adobo sauce
4 Turano Brioche Buns
4 slices pepper jack cheese
½ cup pico de gallo
Directions
In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the onion, stir to coat and cook 3-4 minutes or until soft and golden brown.
Add the beef and stir to combine. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until no pick remains, stirring occasionally.
Drain excess juice and grease from the pan.
Season with salt and pepper, add chopped chipotle and adobo and stir to combine.
Top each bun with a slice of cheese, meat and 2 tbl. of pico de gallo, and serve.
