Three Alarm Philly
Three Alarm Philly
Ingredients
2 tbl. vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
2 jalapeno peppers, sliced into rings
1 small onion, julienned
1 lb. ribeye, sliced very thin
½ tsp. chili flakes
2-3 pinches of salt
1 pinch of black pepper
8 slices pepper jack cheese
4 Turano Soft Sub Rolls, Split and toasted
Directions
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium high. Add the peppers and onions and fry until lightly charred, about 2-3 minutes. Set peppers and onions aside.
Add ribeye to the pan in a single layer, seasoning as you go with salt, pepper and chili flakes. Cook for about 1 minute per side.
Combine meat, peppers and onions in the pan. Divide into 4 equal piles and top with cheese slices. Add 1 oz. of water to the pan, then cover with a lid to steam the cheese until melted, about 10-15 seconds.
Stuff sub rolls with slices of cheese, meat, peppers and onions. Serve.
