Bacon Corn Dip

Bacon makes anything better, right? Try this Bacon Corn Dip appetizer recipe! We suggest pairing it with our Pane Turano bread.

Preparation
1. Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-high heat, until brown and crispy.

2. Transfer to a separate plate and pat dry with paper towel, drain excess fat.

3. Bring skillet back to heat, and add the corn, onion, pepper, and jalapeño.

4. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.

5. Add in the cream cheese and milk and cook another 2-3 minutes, or until well blended.

6. If mixture is too thick, add more milk until you reach desired consistency

7. Place mixture into a bowl, stir in the green onions and sugar and add any salt and pepper as needed.

8. Crush up the bacon, and sprinkle over the top.

9. Serve immediately

* 5 slices of bacon
* 3 cups of sweet corn kernels, canned
* 1/2 cup diced onion
* 1/4 cup chopped green onion
* 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
* 1 jalapeño, diced
* 1 tsp chili powder
* 4 oz cream cheese
* 3 tbs milk
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1 tsp sugar in the raw
* salt and pepper to taste
