Cacio e Pepe Grilled Cheese


For the Butter:
• One stick, unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
• Freshly grated Manchego cheese
• Cracked Pepper to taste

For the Sandwiches:
• 1-3 tablespoons of olive oil
• Provolone Cheese slices
• Freshly grated Manchego cheese
• Turano Rustic Italian Bread


① In a bowl mix together the softened butter, freshly grated manchego and cracked pepper.
② Spread the butter mixture on one side of the bread, then place the bread in a warmed skillet and top with sliced provolone cheese and grated manchego cheese.
③ Next, put the butter mixture on another slice of bread and place it on top of your cheese.
④ Once the cheese has started to melt and the bread is toasted, flip to toast the other side and melt the cheese fully through.
⑤ Once the cheese has melted and both sides of the sandwich are toasted, remove from heat, cut and enjoy!
