6 chorizo link sausages 1 loaf Turano Extra Long French Bread, cut into 6-6” portions (or 6 Turano French Rolls) 1/2 red onion, sliced thin 6 oz. Chimichurri sauce (recipe follows) For Chimichurri: 1 cup parsley leaves, chopped fine 1/3 cup olive oil 1 tbl. red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 1 clove garlic, minced Salt and pepper, to taste
On a grill (indoor or outdoor) over medium-high heat, grill the sausage links to an internal temperature of 165*F. Warm the French bread over the grill until lightly toasted and crisp, 15-30 seconds. Add sausage, onion and chimichurri, and serve. For Chimichurri: Combine all ingredients and let sit at least 30 minutes, so the flavors marry.
