Crispy, Bacon & Brie Sandwich


Caramelized onions
• 2 large onions sliced
• 1 tablespoons olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Brown sugar, honey butter
• 1 teaspoon of Brown sugar
• 1 table spoon of honey
• 1/2 stick of unsalted butter, softened
• 12 pieces of bacon cooked until crisp
• 1-2 rounds of Brie cheese
• 1 tablespoon of honey
• 4 Turano French Rolls


① To make the melty, honey drizzled Brie Cheese Round, preheat Oven to 350 degrees F, unwrap the brie, and place in a smalll, shallow open-proof dish. Drizzle with honey, then bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until melted through. (To check, gently touch the center of the brie, it should feel very soft)
② To make the caramelized onions, heat a large frying pan over medium heat then sauté the onions in the olive oil with the salt until soft and golden. Add the sugar and vinegar and allow to caramelize. Set aside.
③ To make the butter, in a small bowl put the brown sugar, honey and butter, mix until combined.
④ For the bread, butter the inside of the bread on both sides and place in a warm skillet, butter side-down until toasted to a golden brown.
⑤ To make the sandwich, take the toasted bread, fill the inside with pieces of bacon, melty Brie Cheese round slices, then the caramelized onions. Enjoy!
