Grilled Mac & Cheesy Dogs

Grilled Mac & Cheesy Dogs

Ingredients
• 6 Jumbo Hot Dogs
• 6 Turano Bleacher Bun™ Poppy Seed Hot Dog Buns
• 1 Lb Pasta of Choice
• 2 Cups Heavy Cream
• 2 Tsp Each: Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Italian Seasoning, Chili Powder, and Cayenne
• 4 Cups Shredded Cheese of Choice (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack)
• 3 Slices Bacon, chopped and cooked
• 1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
• 1 Tbsp Minced Chives
Directions
① Boil pasta in hot salty water. Remove pasta from water and keep warm.
② While the water is boiling, grill your hot dogs for 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat and grill buns. 2-4 minutes max.
③ In the same pot as the pasta or new skillet on medium heat, add 2 cups of heavy cream. Add seasonings of choice.
④ Once the heavy cream gets to a simmer, turn off heat and add 2 cups of the shredded cheese mixture. Slowly let the cheese melt and thicken the sauce. We are not thickening it with a roux.
⑤ Once the sauce is thicker, toss in your hot pasta and stir. When it is all incorporated, add your second half of the cheese into the pot.
⑥ Stir in the cheese and watch the cheese pulls begin to form!
⑦ Place your hot dog in the bun and top with the delicious Mac and cheese, bacon, bread crumbs, and chives. Enjoy!
