Toasted Party Pan Sandwiches


Ham Sandwich (¼)
• 4 pieces of Swiss Cheese
• 4 pieces of Ham
• Mustard
• Butter
• 2 slices of Rustic Italian

Roast Beef Sandwich (¼)
• Roast beef
• Provolone
• Sautéed Onions
• Butter
• 2 slices of Rustic Italian

Chicken Sandwich or BLT (¼)
• Chicken or Bacon
• Avocado
• Shredded Cheddar
• Mayo
• Butter
• 2 slices of Rustic Italian

Pizza Sandwich (¼)
• Mozzarella
• Marinara
• Finely Cut Basil
• Olive Oil
• Butter
• 2 slices of Rustic Italian


① Pour half of the melted butter onto a medium to large sheet tray, brushing it across the entire surface. Place 4 slices of the Italian Rustic bread onto the sheet pan. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
② Place fillings and topics you desire. As general suggestions we're going for Ham & Swiss, Bacon-Avocado, Roast Beef & Onion, and Pizza. For the ham and Swiss sandwich, place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on the bread, four slices of ham, and 2 more slices of Swiss cheese. For the bacon avocado sandwich, place the shredded cheddar, 3 bacon slices, grilled chicken slices, avocado and mayo. For the roast beef and onion sandwich, place slices of provolone onto the sandwich, sliced roast beef, and half of the sautéed onions. For the Pizza Sandwich, place mozzarella, marinara and finely cut basil.
③ After all your fillings are in place, place another 4 slices of bread on top of the fillings. Brush the top with melted butter. Place a second sheet pan over all the sandwiches and press down. If you'd like you can place heavy oven-able objects on top for a tighter and toastier sandwich.
④ Bake the sheet pan for 10-15 minutes or until the fillings have warmed through. Remove the heavy objects and the top sheet pan, and bake the pressed sandwiches for another 20 minutes or until the bread turns golden brown and crisps up. Remove the sandwiches from the oven, carefully flip the tray onto a cutting board, and slice squares of sandwiches.
