Fig and Prosciutto Panini

Ingredients
• 8 slices of Pane Turano bread
• 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
• 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup of baby spinach leaves
• 2 tablespoons of fig preserves
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
• Place a medium-size skillet over medium-high heat, add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil.
• Assemble the sandwich, evenly divide the prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, and spinach over one side of the bread.
• Spread 1 tablespoon of fig preserves on the remaining slices, then close the sandwich.
• Coat the outside with cooking spray or butter, and place them on the skillet. (you can substitute the skillet with a panini grill if available)
• Cook for 3-4 minutes or until cheese has melted and the outside is desired level of golden brown.
• Flip over and repeat on the other side, remove from heat, and serve immediately.
