PB & Banana French Toast Sandwich

PB & Banana French Toast Sandwich


• 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
• 4 Rustic Italian slices
• 1 banana
• 1 tbsp. Olive oil
• 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. of vanilla
• 1 tbsp. butter


① Preheat pan over medium heat, and place butter and oil in pan. In a small bowl mix together the eggs and the vanilla.
② Dip each slice of Rustic Italian bread in the egg mixture and cook it in the pan. Flip sides after 4-5 minutes.
③ Take out the bread and spread peanut butter evenly. Cut each banana half lengthwise into 3 slices. Layer banana slices over peanut butter on bread slices. Top with remaining bread slice.
④ Cut each sandwich in half and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Serve with honey, or maple syrup for dipping. Enjoy!
