Bacon Chili Stuffed Burger

Summer time grilling is in full swing. Excite your guests with more than a traditional burger, by grilling up Chef Peter's Bacon Chili Stuffed Burger recipe.

Yield:4 Burgers
1. Combine cream cheese, chilies, shredded Jack, onions and garlic in a bowl until thoroughly mixed.

2. Press ground beef into 8 equal size thin patties on plastic wrap.

3. Spoon 1 tbl. of cream cheese mix onto 4 patties.

4. Top filled patties with remaining patties and crimp the edges together.

5. Season patties with salt and pepper immediately before cooking.

6. Grill burgers for 4-5 minutes per side over medium-high flame.

7. Let burgers sit 3-4 minutes before serving on Turano Buttermilk Potato Rolls
* 4 oz. cream cheese, room temp
* 1 – 4 oz. can diced green chilies
* 2 oz. shredded Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack cheese
* 2 strips of bacon, cooked, diced
* 1 tbl. green onions, chopped
* 1 small clove garlic, minced
* 2 lbs. ground beef
* Salt and Pepper, to season
* 4 Turano Buttermilk Potato Roll
* Lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles, if desired
